There's something about weekday mornings.

No matter how full your wardrobe is, getting dressed for work can somehow feel like solving the same puzzle over and over again.

You pull out a pair of trousers.

Try a blouse.

Change your mind.

Swap the shoes.

Try a blazer.

Take it off.

Before you know it, twenty minutes have passed and you're standing in front of your wardrobe thinking,

"Why is this so hard?"

The frustrating part?

It usually isn't because you don't have enough clothes.

It's because you don't have enough outfit combinations that you know work.

And those are two completely different problems.

That's why I'm such a big believer in outfit formulas.

Not because they tell you exactly what to wear...

But because they remove the pressure of having to figure everything out from scratch every single morning.

Once you know a formula works, you can recreate it again and again using pieces you already own.

Here are a few of my favourites.

Formula #1

White Shirt + Tailored Trousers + Loafers

If you're ever stuck, start here.

It's timeless.

Professional.

And incredibly easy to recreate.

Change the colour of the shirt.

Swap the loafers for slingbacks.

Add a blazer.

You've suddenly created three completely different outfits without changing the formula.

Formula #2

Basic Tee + Straight-Leg Jeans + Blazer + Block Heels

One of my favourite business casual combinations.

Relaxed enough to feel comfortable.

Polished enough to still look intentional.

Formula #3

Knit Top + Wide-Leg Trousers + Ballet Flats

This is the outfit I reach for when I want to feel elegant without looking overdressed.

It's simple.

Comfortable.

And somehow always looks expensive.

Formula #4

Midi Dress + Blazer + Flats

The easiest formula for mornings when your brain refuses to make decisions.

One dress.

One blazer.

Done.

Formula #5

Button-Down Shirt + Midi Skirt + Loafers

Proof that basics never have to look boring.

Small changes – rolling your sleeves, adding a belt or changing your bag – make this formula feel new every time.

Here's the interesting part.

These formulas aren't special because of the clothes.

They're special because of the combinations.

For years, I genuinely believed women who always looked put together simply owned better wardrobes.

Then I realised something.

Most of them weren't wearing extraordinary clothes.

They just knew which pieces naturally worked together.

That changed the way I looked at my own wardrobe.

Instead of seeing twenty separate pieces...

I started seeing hundreds of possible combinations.

And suddenly...

Getting dressed became easier.

Shopping became less tempting.

My wardrobe started feeling bigger without actually getting bigger.

That's the real power of outfit formulas.

They're not about giving you more clothes.

They're about helping you see more possibilities inside the clothes you already own.

That's exactly why I created the Outfit Formula Library.

Every time I discovered a combination that worked, I saved it.

Eventually those combinations became a collection.

Today, that collection contains more than 80 outfit formulas organised by occasion – so whether you're getting dressed for work, running errands, going to brunch or heading out for dinner, you never have to start from zero.

Instead of asking,

"What should I wear?"

You simply choose a formula.

Then make it your own.

Getting dressed shouldn't feel like the hardest decision you make before 9 a.m.

Sometimes the answer isn't buying more clothes.

Sometimes it's simply learning to see the clothes you already own in a completely different way.
